I've been slack!

I have been busy the last ocuple of weeks and haven't updated the blog!! I will upload some pics over the weekend!

I have been doing lots of scrapbooking lately - challenges & a competition at Hybrid Designs, guest design team thing also at Hybrid and also some workshops/classes for my business Scrapbook Angel!

One of the girls from a mums group - Bundy Mums - has asked me to do weekly classes with a group of mums and i did the first one yesterday! It was lots of fun and i had a great time getting to know the girls!

Maddi had a gym comp last Sunday at Hervey Bay so it was another early start for Maddi & I to be there and her ready for her warm up by 7am!! She did really well and we are so proud of how well she has done with her gymnastics all year - YAY!! She willbe training for an hour a week more next year so it will be nice to have a break!

We have a busy weekend planned but i am looking forward to it! Tomorrow night we are off to a gymnsatics presentation dinner and disco and then Sunday is Mackenzie's naming day. Anne and Hilton are coming for it (anne is going to be her Godmother) so it will be nice to spend some time with the newly weds!! Tomorrow will be spent helping Nik get organised and doing a bit of running around.
I also need to get the chrissy tree out so it is ready to put up!! The kdis are so excited and have been hassling me for about 10 day sto let them put it up! We usually decorate the whole lounge room and Hayden has drawn a map so I know where they want everything to go!

Palm Cove & Cairns

It was very hot (at 5pm the pool at the resort we stayed at was like swimming in a warm bath) We spent 2 nights at Palm Cove and it was just beautiful. We walked down to the beach and along the esplanade and of course I went shopping and took hundreds of photos!

Anne & Hilton got married in a little chapel right on the beach - it is part of a resort - and it was gorgeous! They had photos on the beach while we had drinks and then it was accross the road to the reception! Anne had pink and purple as her colours and it looked so pretty! They had named their tables rather than number them and we were at the honesty table! It was a lovely wedding!

Sunday we took Nik, Jamie & Kenzie to the airport and then we headed into Ciarns for the day! We went to the Lagoon on the esplanade and did some shopping before going to our motel and having a swim and the pool there was nice and cold! We headed to the airport early monday mornign to catch our plane to Brisbane and then home!

Cairns is just beautiful - don't know if i could live there as it has a real holiday feel to it and it is hot!! but i guess you would get used to that!! - and Andy is already planning on going for a holiday and taking the kids!!

1. I am 15% albino! - yes albino!
2. I am so scared off snakes i can't even stand looking at a picture of one!
3. I developed epilepsy at 17, was on medication for a number of years and it is now gone!
4. I have had eye surgery twice to fix a lazy eye!
5. I would have had a third baby if I hadn't thrown up for 8 months with my second!
6. I wanted to be a machenic when i grew up!!

WOW after only having this blog for a few weeks there has already been over 300 visits - thanks everyone!! And thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving me!

I am so exicted at the moment - I am all packed and ready to head to cairns at 5am tomorrow morning for Anne & Hilton's wedding!! We took the kids to grandma & grandad tonight and Mad was a bit upset but ok! She asked me to bring her a letter (that is a postcard) and a surprise home for her! I said I would but she wants the suprise to be a guitar!! Think she will have to wait for that one at christmas!!

I had a great time doing this Layout - I used lots of paint! for the blue I used bubble wrap to get the pattern!

I'm getting Excited!!

We only have "2 sleeps" until we go to Cairns for Anne & Hilton's Wedding - I can't wait!! The kids are going to stay with Grandma and Grandad and they are excited about that - Mad even told me we could stay n Cairns until "the next Monday" if we wanted instead of coming home "this coming" Monday!! I ahve been trying to get everything packed and organised for us and the kids this morning!

I have also been busy completing a couple of challenges. Hybrid designs are having a Guest Design team competition at the moment and we have a few challenges to complete for it - my first one was finished yesterday and I will posta pic soon! they also have another comp gong called Ready, Steady, Crop and I need to get my 2nd challenge layout done today!

What I have been up to this week!

I haven't really done much this week!!

Of coarse I got a bit of scrapping done - and hope to do a bit more over the weekend!! I am doing a challenge at hybrid - Ready, Steady, Crop! and we had a first "goodie bag" touse this week! That was a lot of fun! I will share the layout I did for it soon!

I spent a lot of time with Nik & Kenzie on Mon, Tues & Wed!! I took some photo's of Kenzie in her fairy dress and her birthday suit!! They turned out really good. I ahve to finish editing them in photobucket though!!

Today I have got myself a new Hair colour!! Foils anyway! My hair now has pink - yes pink!!!- and a browny/caramel colour through it! I love it. I wanted something different and am really happy with it. It has also been cut fairly short again - after spending a couple of weeks like a woolly sheep! I will get a pic over the weekend and show you all!

I have also spent a bit of time at school getting things organised for the family fun day which is tomorrow. the kids are so excited! They have jumping castles, rock climbing, slides, tea cup rides, big swings and other rides and then each class does a stall - ours are the games (ten pin, put put, lob a choc etc) for Maddi and the bottle stall for Hayden. They have a dunking tank and stalls etc too so it should be a fun day - very hot but still fun!

this time next week Andrew and I will be in Cairns - Palm Cove actually - and going to Anne & Hilton's wedding tomorrow - I am so excited I can't wait!

Our Weekend!!

Maddi and I had a lovely weekend without the boys!! They went fishing at Turkey for the weekend!! We did some shopping, I started making invites for Mackenzie's naming and sorted Mum's photos out for her.

Mad got a new dresser (2nd hand but new for her anyway!!!) so we rearragned her bedroom and put all her things in it and then I don't know what got into me but I decided to sort out the kids toys and get rid of the ones they no longer play with etc!! Of coarse this involved moving things around downstairs and I am starting to regret that!! We have a bookcase that is taller than me and about 1.5m wide well I just had to shift it to the other side of the room didn't I but because downstaris is low I had to empty it and lay it down!! Andrew still doesn't believe I could have done it by myself and I think I will have trouble gettting out of bed in the morning but it is starting to look good downstairs except for hte big pile I still have to sort out in the middle of the room!!

Maddi is being very creative today!!

Maddi has a book which she absolutely loves. It is called Isabella's secret. Mad found a wooden butterfly in amoungst all my bits and pieces so she painted and decorated it and then she decided to make a "log" and attach the butterfly to it because there is one in her book! She used lots of my bits and pieces and it has kept her busy for a big part of today! Here are a couple of pictures of her creation!!

I won a challenge for the Cyber Crop at Hybrid!!

I won one of the challenges over at Hybrid!! Yes I am excited!! It is the "AUNTY" layout I posted here the other day! I also got an "honourable mention" for another challenge and that is the M layout!!

I have Maddi home still coevered in rash but most of it is gettting better! Her ear is all rashy again now though but hopefully it won't take long and she will be all better! She has been doing some scrapbooking with me this morning. Both kids do a kids challenge at Hybrid each month so we finished Mad's off this morning. I will share it later once I have taken a photo of it!

I have also been doing some scrapping - kaiser off the page stuff for scrapbook angel!! I will share a few things later too!

Little Doll!!

I did this layout for the october CC at Hybrid! It is of my gorgeous niece Mackenzie having a ride in Maddi's baby born pram! The photo isn't great but you get the idea!

I am so glad this week is over - almost anyway!!

This week has been such a busy one for us and I am glad that tomorrow I have nothing on and I can just be lazy!! Thursday was spent running around taking the kids to school, dog to the vet, back to school for the kids to do "Sing Sing", home to do some housework, back to school for pick up, gym training and then into town for the community walk event - Maddi marched in it with her gymnastics team!! Friday was an excursion with Hayden's class to the art centre and then packing up to go to Mum and Dad's.

This morning Mum, Maddi and I were up around 4.30am to head to Gympie for Maddi to do a gym comp!! She did really well and got 5 ribbons so was very excited! We got home to Bundy at 5pm this afternoon, and I am now ready for bed!!

I will upload some pics of Maddi at gym tomorrow - I couldn't be bothered at the moment!

What A Day!!

today I went on an excursion with Maddi's Class to the art centre!! It was lots of fun and we had a great time building with the white lego that is part of an exhibition there at the moment! I got a call from the school and had to go and pick Mad up early because she had a pain in the belly - guess who ate something she shouldn't have yesterday!! She is fine now though and busy fighting with Hayden!

I have a couple of layouts to share but will upload those later on! I hope to get some scrapping done tonight but will wait and see if that actually happens!
